We're home from our much-delayed honeymoon/David's 33rd birthday in PR and had a great time. I'm still looking for a job (I was rejected by Starbucks yesterday, but interviewed to sub at a school this morning), David is working at his and we still have my friend Catherine staying with us (yay!). It's been fun to be home and read up on all that's happened in the last week.

Dave on the beach at the Hilton Ponce. They gave us very cheesy shirts for being honeymooners. We played a lot of Scrabble under that umbrella.

At La Mina Falls in El Yunque rainforest

Sunset off the ferry to Culebra (we camped and snorkeled a lot)

The old Sherman tank that is stuck in the sands of Playa Flamenco. Lots of Culebra used to be a bombing range for the Navy & Marines. As a result, you get to swim with live ordinance (a very good reason not to touch the reefs) and occasionally come across big, dead, metal things. Personally, I think they just got the tank stuck in the sand and couldn't get it out so they blew it up.

The Dingy Dock was exactly the sort of place you hope you find on vacation--right on the water, huge taurpin fish swimming by the tables, great food and live entertainment. Right after this picture, our camera stopped working. Oh well.
