I've breifly wrested the computer form my husband's cold, sweaty hands (I forgot and left the humidifier on all day, opps). One computer in a house like ours during an election year. David's all over the Obama. I think he's single-handedly supporting RealClearPolitics.

As for me, the new job is going well. I don't have any down time during the day and have to fight to get in a lunch break, but that was true in the classroom too. Way less stress than teaching, but I miss the kids and actually kinda miss the status.

As for events down here, I'm hoping to get into a BSF study the second week of April--I'm number 8 on the waiting list. Is it ok to pray that eight people decide their lives are too busy for it this spring? It's an ethical dilemma.

We went to a famous church ravioli supper this past weekend at Sacred Heart. It was an experience--they shout at you, herd you in, sling around the ravioli and sauce they've been prepping for a week like it's a sport and meet all sorts of people. It's barely controlled chaos and it's wonderful and the 4,000 meals they serve just about cover another six months of operating costs. Pretty cool.

We also finally bought a bed(!). Yea! I can't help being ridiculously happy about this.

Ikea opened here a few weeks ago. We went last night and had dinner. David was impressed in spite of himself:)

And that's that. We're boring, but happy. Love to all!
