And She's Back!
I have to say-- not a good idea to let your hotmail accoutn lapse at the same time you've avoided resetting your blogger account. Makes for a long dry spell before each problem is fixed and balance is restored to the universe. So here's me:
The house goes on the market in about two weeks. Next weekend I pack up anything that doesn't qualify as "furnishings" (the house is supposed to sell better with "furnishings" still in it). This means all costumes, decorating crap, books, candles, miscellanious junk from miscellaneous drawers, out of season clothes (um, what do I put in that catagory right now? I'm puzzled), seasonal stuff and other such must go to Cincinnati. Sigh. Big week.
Add to that that Grayson cracked my front picture window this weekend AND chewed up the custom blinds. Very expensive dog. Perhaps I will make a dog skin rug.
The wedding planning is going well, but vendors seem suprised that I mostly just don't care about the five possible blues for accent flowers in bouquets. Give me one that's cheap and close. Done. Major goal of the day is to be married to Daivd at the end of it. Everything else is a bonus.
Is it OK if I desperately steal ideas from weddings I've attended? I just have classy friends.
The job search is on. Turns out I am marketable, it's just a matter of finding the job. It's killing me to find time to follow up on leads and edit the resume for each one. I just don't know. Stressful.
Steel Magnolias is over and Midsummer's is about to start tech. I think it'll be exceptionally cool--we're putting it in the 1960s!
That's the short summary-- more later! Take care--I love reading your blogs even when I can't post!

Hi Meg, I think that your dog needs some sort of therapy (perhaps involving schocks). I'll be praying for a good move and job search.

Perhaps a piece of puppy art instead of a rug.... To kinda replace the curtains :-)
